Swords

Swords are a new thing for me but, was one of the driving forces for me as a new maker. I've always has a
love of swords, like many others. Below are my first steps.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Celtic-Crossover Long Sword
This sword has a 28" blade of 5160 spring steel with 26" edges (heat treated by Jerry Rados). This sword
was made as a matching piece for our Celtic Dagger (shown in the Dagger section). The handle is Sambar
 stag with ebony ends and brass/nickle-silver spacers. The ends are brass and file worked nickle-silver
discs and the pommel is brass with an onyx cabochon. The blade sheath has a Celtic carving pattern
and family crest. This piece is 38" overall, tip to cab.
(Call or e-mail for pricing on swords).
Matching blade to above in progress...the rest is still up in the air, of course.
